i think i bit ot off more than i can chew!!!

got a 10x50 1960s model mobile home in the mountains given to me today and shes paying me to remove it, the catch is is blocked in and cant be moved so it has to be destroyed on site !!! heavy gauge tin siding, all aluminum 2 piece window frames and copper galore i signed a contract with her yesterday to have it removed and all debris cleaned out by sept 4th and my partner that was helping (,that has the big trailer and truck for hauling off debris) has backed out on me GGGRRRRR,i work 5 days a week a only have mon and tues to work on it , and top it all off there no power on the premises, so i got serious forearm pump going on today ....but should make some decent money on it ...

Looks like its time to rent a construction dumpster and a small generator. That is going to be a lot of trips to the dump if you are trying to haul all the debris yourself, And the cost of gas and dump fee's are going to kill your profits.

For a few bills you can rent a roll off and fill it up and not have to worry about hauling it.

I agree. I would get a generator and whatever cutting tool you prefer and some blades!

That lady needed to be a bit cooperative and not expect you to work miracles!

im sure she will extend the deadline being as i lost most of my equipment and extra hand , she has the property for sale and the realtor will not show it until the mobile is gone, and i just got off the phone with a guy that is considering trading me for a 4 out plug generator for an old boat that has been siting in yard for a few years, so things are looking up ...if i could put that sawzall to work things would be gravy

Well if you were closer, I would offer assistance, but that is a hell of a drive lol.

Yeah, sawzalls and angle grinders are beautiful!

I took a deal for a company I used to work for to scrap some heavy duty plant equipment. At first it was OK to use company equipment and a friend who also worked for the company. The day I showed up to work, they wouldn't allow either use of the equipment, or my friend to help . That meant I had to leave the two biggest pieces. Between the insurance they made me buy, and the equipment I had to rent, I spent 2 grand, knowing there was minimum 4 grand for the taking. Since I couldn't get the two biggest pieces , I only got $400 total for the job. What a lesson!
