Tater, your hussle is ridiculously sick, yo!!! How long have you been scrapping? I know it takes years to get your name out there and land repeat callers and what not but you seem to have a pretty regular flow.
Tater is just awesome like that. Don't tell'm I said that tho. He'll get all cocky. :p
Sirscrapalot - I got it one piece at a time, and it didn't cost me a dime...- Johnny Cash "One Piece at a Time"
Spotted this one on the way home being pulled in with a tractor, followed them down made a offer and a couple weeks later the guy got a hold of me. Just lucky I guess and been at it for better part of a decade so I'm well known around these here parts for scrapping. I'd chalk this one up to dam good luck and being professional.
Well done
Not to hijack, but there seems to be a controversy as to which is the actual car built for the song.
I've found two so far. And both with him in the pic. :&

All the work for the original was done by Abernathy Auto Parts and Hilltop Auto Salvage in Nashville, TN. Let's hear it for Tenn.
And since this car was on the way home from scrap yard, no extra gas used to pick it up. And I've the fuel pump hot wired right now pumping out the 3/4 tank of gas ! Hopefully thats around 10 gallons or so! The bread box was still there, and it's plumb full !
Tater- practicing my happy dance while the fuel is pumping
And 13 gallons later, one happy tater !

Even without any front tires and one flat tire, winching this mess on the trailer wasn't any problem

Dig the jack stands Tater and glad to see someones trailer fenders that look like mine.
really nice haul..
I have to say I really like your thread. I have learned a lot about hauling/salvaging autos from it. I have a 99 Volvo S70 to scrap when I find time outside of my business. Hopefully I'll have a bigger trailer by then :)

do you try to sell any parts from em ?
Thanks Tater...I have ramps like yours and wondered how a car with no wheels would be a problem. Now I know.
