How, out of curiosity and I feel like a idiot for asking...how exactly did you connect that tow bar to the truck? I thought the tow bar was supposed to have brackets welded or bolted to the frame for the bar to connect with pins. There it looks flush to the bumper with chains strapping it down.
The reason I never went the route of tow bar is I always thought you had to bolt brackets to the frame...

I had one once upon a time that you would pull a bumper bolt, lay the bracket on it and replace the bumper bolt with a stainless one.

on a towbar vehicle if it's a late model, just make sure the steering wheel is unlocked.

if your talking bout that old grain truck it steers itself, kinda of the purpose of a tow bar. And yes I did pay for the appliances and Im not telling what that I paid. Don't mean to be a hater but don't believe in giving out that kind of info.

we sucks when we have to make decisions on those old ones. we bought a 65 f100 last week straight body, ended up selling it for less than scrap just to keep from scrapping her we still made $100 , those tow bars work great when the tires have air, we done a grain truck early this year, we used our torch and cut holes in the bumper and towed it that way, nice scores by the way tater

Yep tow bars work great just don't get in a hurry when towing a 2 ton truck or it'll put you in the ditch if you have to brake hard. Thanks Cory

4 bolts is how, I use the two bolts holding the bumper to the frame and drill two other holes in the bumper.

I sheared off the bumper bolts on one side of a 3/4 ton pickup while turning a corner slowly. The 3/4 gently rolled into the back of my big dually and mashed the fender. That's why I recommended SS or hi grade bolts.

That's why I use grade 8 5/8" bolts only with this tow bar.
