Yesterday's score 1983 dodge 350 12 passenger van, came with wheel chair lift and full tank of gas, 35 gallon of it to be exact.

you know the sad thing that wc lift will do about $2k just sold one monday

It isn't going to going the junk yard whole I'm gona slang sum parts off this one before it goes. Motor needs a tune up but runs good otherwise, hopefully might have a buyer I'll know tomorrow. And yes the wheel chair lift will be spared from the crusher, glad to know its worth something. I'd be glad to even get half of liberty got for his. Drove this one home too, didn't even have to jump start it or anything !

Good luck tater you might be surprised how easye it is to resell mobilty and handicapped accessablity equipmetn the market is huge and expanding everyday just look on the wanted ads on craigslist and backpage

tater i DIDN"T list mine i looked in the wanted ads saw people liiking for rascals and lifts some sob story about diabetic mother and insurance only payes2k a year all they had was 2k done come get it they set that price not me but it was what it was

A water/fertilizer spreader for watering/fertilizing crops , very nice find. It looks like it's missing the tank.

Hey Tater, any tips for flat towing a 2 ton truck? I may have one in my sights but can't afford to get it towed.

First of all, safety chains and magnetic lights are a must. If brakes on the two ton are operable and someone to ride in truck to help with braking would be best. Aside from that, drive slow ! And be aware of any hills or turns, as it will need much greater distances to slow down or turn. Frankly I wouldn't recommend it, flat towing a 2 ton can very dangerous.

i agree with tater mech, ive towed two like this but i would never suggest anyone else do it, id feel bad if they got hurt in the process, like he said you have to be way more aware of your surroundings, plus im not sure how tater mounts his but i use a cutting torch to cut holes in the bumper for the brackets on the tow bar, it has to be precise and if its not and you have to redo it your just weakening your anchor point. also the truck will steer itself but like tater says its a good idea to have someone in the truck

i agree with tater mech, ive towed two like this but i would never suggest anyone else do it,

thanks for that Cory. I've towed literally dozens of 2 tons and hated it every time. It's an art to control 6 tons of truck behind you without any brakes on it, and the front tires tend to wander and follow the groves in the road. Definitely NOT for rookies or faint of heart. Bottom line, it can be done without incident but I would say is hazdous at best. Or in other words, kids DON'T try this at home !

Ill take your word on that. Its about 30 miles away and that's a lot of miles for something to go wrong. I hate to miss it tho while I'm trying to get money for a wrecker to haul it. Its a old international with a good dump bed.
