You should try one, I'm just using cars I bought to scrap. That has to be the
Best part about it. I got 3 cars building for 2015. I just wished I'd started a long time ago.

Got any minivans in the lineup for next year?
My father ran a 64 Skylark 4 door in a derby years back. He took out every competitor first match, Mega Tank was unstoppable that round.

I can't begin to describe how much I love your truck and trailer. It miiiiight be better if it was a Ford, but you take what you can get. All jokes aside it's a sick truck and an even better trailer. In fact I believe I'll try to build one and learn to weld in the process. I have a Mig and I can tack weld if that counts for anything.

Not yet... Keeping an eye out for a astro van tho, those things are freaking tanks and have a beast of a motor.

Sir- if I find it I will ship it, and I've ran both cars without gauges for 2 simple reasons:
    1. Can't go fast enough
    2. I don't care how hot the motor gets as long as it still running

Busy night for tater, loaded and unloaded 3000 # of scrap( and sorted, thanks to wife for helping), loaded some aluminum, dismounted 4 tires and cut off 2 cats. Whew, time for bed. Getting a mega load on my Gnooseneck trailer, stacked about 4' high front to back, next to get the bumper pull loaded to the gills.

Btw had someone drop off a boat motor in my backyard last week. Wish that'd happen every week. Still dont know who it was wish I could thank them.

Drove this beast home while back(kinda lacks brakes tho).

I presume your talking bout my flatbed pickup trailer ? I sold it to put money towards one I needed to finish up. It's got a Gnooseneck hitch and another flatbed sitting on a '70's one ton dually chassis. Yeah buddy ! It's gona be so sick. Also got a dump bed trailer in the works, gona build it as well. And working on purchasing a demo/scrap/ fab shop. Stayed tuned for updates!!'

If only I lived even remotely close to you, I would be more than willing to pony up the money for trailers like what you build. I'm just over here in NC with Sirscrapalot and miked.

It's a shame. I usually build them, run them for for couple of years and sell em for about 75$ above the cost of the build so really it'd didn't cost my anything to build or use them. I've built around 20 so far, if I can get a decent welder of my own bought I'd like to build a bunch more. The tongue design is my old mans, by far the best way I've seen to build em. I got a signature I put on every trailer I build so it's almost a name brand.

Can you post a good picture of the tongue design on the bumper pull trailers? I'd love to try to imitate it.

Tater, Love the International. Will that become part of the scrap fleet? I would also like to see your hitch design. I build a lot of trailers and always looking for new and improved.

I prefab the tongue to bolt on under the frame so I can pull it to the welder, don't usually strip and build them in the same place.

    A Tater update
Spent a couple days in Denver last week to celebrate my 5 year wedding aniversary with my wife. Your traffic sucks there kz !! Either 10 mph bumper to bumper or your doing 75 in a 55 and still getting ran over ! The mountains are pretty tho and everyone seemed pretty high !

    And now for the pics

An auction buy, NOS victor torch setup complete for a cool 100$

    The cars

    1990 fire chicken

1995 century, a drove it home for less than 3 bills

    My 100 buck monte

    And a new trailer !!!

It's 102" wide, 8k axles, HEAVY duty drive over fenders, 20' long. And with some trading bought for under 2k !!! And sadly tho I will be selling my old red car trailer.

And no pic but got a caddy gave to me For pulling the motor.

Congrats on the anniversary and sorry I didn't have a chance to meet you.

Yes the traffic sucks...the powers that be refuse to build/expand freeways until even the upgrade is not even good enough, so we are constantly trying to play catch up. I try to use side streets as much as possible during rush hour.

    Nice trailer and auction finds.
