Gona be a daily driver for a while til I use it as a demo car. Has the 2.5 4 cylinder so pretty good fuel mileage. Can't beleive it, bought a running driving car with a title for 100$ !!! Been a dam long time since I was able to say that.
Just when you think this couldn't get any better it did!!! Sold it for a hefty profit, when I cleaned it out found a fully functional iPod complete with good music already on it. And found a nice pair of battery terminal pliers as well, which appear to be snap on.

    Nice score(s)!!

Glad you sold it, though...I'd hate to see tater driving that. The rust spots...don't seem to be ....you!!

Hope everyone here is doing well. Scrap is still pretty low here so I'm stock piling, mainly in the form of demo cars.

They call it creasing, suppose to increase the "stiffness" of a body panel.

And I don't got enough land, running out of room.

Glad to see you are back. Looks like you have a good collection of demolition cars for this session. The benefits of low scrap prices I guess. Hope you keep it in reverse all season.

Been working on a scrap project last week.
Got this old rusty 2000 chevy 1500, been selling parts like none other.
Sold front end parts, tires, transfer case, transmission, and motor.
Word to the wise, pulling LS motors sucks and isn't fun.

Recent car I got '93 buick regal

I can believe those parts off that 1500 went like hot cakes.

Glad to see you're still hard at work tater - this thread play a major part in my longing for a 16+ foot 10,000# trailer and a truck to pull it with.

We used to have a '93 Regal back when we first had kids but ours looked a bit slicker than that one (was there as Regal "GS" or something with more bells and whistles??). Had it online at one of our "auto marts" but sold it at a consignment place. Ended up getting several foreign offers on the car months later (like from Tunisia!). Probably all scams...

P.S. Never had the little donut wheel on the 93. Classy!!

Glad I inspired someone. Kinda ironic that since I got a decent rig with ice cold ac, don't spend much time on the road since scrap is down. Oh well, still nice for hauling demo cars and I now have enough room to bring the wife and kids along.

Thought I'd start selling off part of my stash to gain some breathing room but no avail, scrap went up 10 last month and down 25 this month. Guess I'll have to wait longer and pay even less for what I am buying. Just checking in hope you all are surviving out there.

Many yards close to me have stopped paying for cars and tin. Only 1 yard is paying close to me and their only paying 20$ a ton. So stock piling I am.

Welcome back. How was the derby season? You should have a lot of material to choose from at very low prices.

Pretty good pat. I actually derbied with a member of this forum.
Got a win in August at my hometown show. Took 2nd in ne Colorado too. Picked up a 96 accord for chump change that appears to only need a cv shaft. Going after a 76$ car soon. Got several used up cars packed full of shred just waiting for the price to rebound.

Hey, I used to drive a 96 Accord!! It was a tough little car that I don't think I put much repair into over the years, not anywhere near what I have in repair to my 03 Buick Regal. Put a nice size 4 x 4 WT deer buck in the trunk once...
