Probably was but unfortunately not worth a lot either way, kinda feel bad bout it but those feelings subside every time I get the cash in my hand.
did it have a Omaha bed on it?
Believe so, all wooden whatever it was, the truck was a '54
Amazing what a 69.95 harbor freight tow bar and 70 pair of implement lights can get moved
And oh yeah 40$ worth of 3/8" chain for safety chains, and keeping it legit
dont scrap it. they dont make em like that anyomore, heck you know how "fly" you would look scrapping in that!? heck i'd probably give you all my scrap just because of that ride of yours.
$60 huh? that's a great deal....... I've yet to buy anything from harbor freight despite my many needs! lol!
We don't have much in the way of a business strategy. Like no business plan. Which I say to torment all my friends who are VCs or MBAs. That's always entertaining. The deal is, it's a mixture of luck and persistence.

I love old chit and it's tough scrapping some of that stuff but a man got to choose between having a acreage of cool stuff that doesn't really sell that well or pay the bills. When we are all rich and not so famous, we can open a museum.

And seeing the old Chev makes me hurt inside. Seriously nobody had interest in that truck for a little more than scrap value?

Last Fridays haul, got a call my man at the appliance shack and got full load of frigs, washers, dryers, stoves, 5 window acs and a tv I have no idea what I'm going to do with.
That's stacked 3 wide 2 tall front to back with 5080 # of appliances.
Nice load there Tater.
Too bad diddnt get the call last week before the price dropped off 30 a ton
How, out of curiosity and I feel like a idiot for asking...how exactly did you connect that tow bar to the truck? I thought the tow bar was supposed to have brackets welded or bolted to the frame for the bar to connect with pins. There it looks flush to the bumper with chains strapping it down.
The reason I never went the route of tow bar is I always thought you had to bolt brackets to the frame...
