Good score Copper. it's always pays to keep a good relationship with busness people, you never know what they might give you.
Man that's an awesome deal.
This particular store sells gold jewelery and more and I felt like small Potato's with my little silver purchase each week.
now I feel at home like the metal yard with this store .

I won't buy silver now. I bought like crazy at 4 to 7 per ounce. Sold most of it at 15 to 17. At one point I had over $1,100 face value in US silver coin. Wish I still had it. Buy low, sell high. That is all I can say. When the economy corrects, the price of gold and silver will correct down.
Of course I currently hold any silver I get my hands on for cheap right now.

Well for now any money I make with scrap goes towards - Bills - gas - food - naturally . So any small sum each week I use towards silver is just a switching of commodities, like today 380 pounds one heavy fridg and other metal $40 so now i still have a piece of the fridge just in a small package, I like collecting metals . But I'd be happy to here any better way to save other then what i am doing . As of now I need to clean my yard grounds - but I like having tangible value i can hold , 5 ovens in the back yard are to big .

Copper, I sure the man appreciates your business no matter how small it may seem and sense you buy from him every week or so he wants to make sure you keep coming in. It's like when someone gives you some computers and a few days later you come by with some donuts and coffee for him hopping he will remember you the next time he gets old computers.
what no beer? c'mon man, your just not a scrapper if your not cashing in them ovens for a 6 pack & smokes!
You say in fun but I deal with that on the other end (significant other ) in my years of marriage I'd say she's at around $22,000 EASY in drink and smoke year after year and still growing . I love my wife but thats what it is. I feel bad as that indulgence does exceed my attempt of 1 oz of silver per week ,There is a lot i can say about it cause I AM LIVING IT - 7 days a week ,but to each there own so i am not preaching . BUT I feel money is being pissed away for what good -- none.
As I have heard people say to me
1) It's not how much you make thats important it's how much you spend
2) It's not how much you make thats important it's how much you save
3) Save your money cause it don't spoil like food
Sorry don't want to bring any one down but it's touch of some real in the day to day
