stripping degaussing wire, are the most tedious but the payout is rewarding, and finally.. cleaning out my drop down box for screws.. and such.. but.. I toss the screws and such into the metal.. git a little bit back. and finally My worst..
tearing apart yokes and cleaning the glue off of it.
so far the most tedious thing is keeping my scrapping area clean from dust build up, I brush every board I take out of tv's/monitors outside, and the fluff that builds up on fans of all types, amazed some of them didn't catch on fire they were so clogged up.
yeah so dust, hate dust.
Previously I thought of wire, but now it's just Volume. My scrap space filled up faster than I can tear stuff down. Today is a soggy swamp oven, so I'll leave more stuff sitting at curbs and try to reduce my own pile.
i hate printers, but people keep giving them to me, and i cant refuse them. after all, i am the scrap man.
but for now, they sit in a pile on my patio. until the slow times kick in

Got a new least favorite job the other day, cutting the steel fittings off stainless steel tubing. Takes too long with the 4.5 angle grinder and cuts very hard even with 24" bolt cutters.

I hated that too, but found if you toss them in the freezer for a while you can take them out and smack them with a hammer and it will break up like hard plastic. If you live in cold country save them up for a good cold day and you won't need to piss the wife off using her freezer.
What I hate most is getting the hard drive platters off the hard drive motors. Darn small screws never want to come out.
Starbits
When I eventually finish removing thousands of Christmas lightbulbs I can put this mess in a box for deep winter when I'm bored enough to strip thousands of short bits of thin wire.
dont forget you can resell the bulbs as replacement bulbs, definitely not a throw away
