    My First Loss by Theft!

My biggest client, a huge apartment complex, has a truckload of appliances every couple weeks for me. So I get a call that they have a load of 3 fridges, 2 air conditioners, 2 stoves and a couple dishwashers. I get there and the entire bottoms of the fridges have been cut out, along with the motors from the dishwashers, and all that's left of the air conditioners are the shells. The stoves must have been too big for them to bother with because they were still there. The super was ripped when I told her. They will put the stuff inside from now on, but that's more work on both our ends. Oh, well. At least it didn't happen at my house!

And the amazing thing is no one seen a thing, you would have thought ripping all that out would have made a lot of noise and got someone's attention.

Sorry to hear about that. Hope something wonderful happens to make up for it - still not a bad haul in terms of shred.

Thanks, guys....I guess I shouldn't be surprised, with it happening all over the place. Just didn't expect it.

Yeah, that's my thought, too. Someone who didn't have a truck since they left the stoves (and the fridge carcasses). They will be locking them up in a boiler room from now on.
