    Found a 1992 PBell

YES !! it has a Pent Pro - nice gold pins and a square gold platform say 1 1/2 square showing on both sides & 1/4 inch ceramic showing - I don't have a ruler with me .so it's just a visual . I had many of those type (now that i see the source ) and never gave much thought back then - to bad .

I love seeing the old PC's especially the ones with the old big round keyboard connector.

Pentium Pro's were only used from 95-98, it might be a bit older than 92. Still, an awesome find!

Some people confuse the original Pentiums (60/ 66Mhz and quite large) with Pentium Pros. PPro are not square (because the cache is next to the CPU and not on the motherboard), both have the gold tops and are ceramic (unless you find the black ppro 200's with 1MB cache and those should be put on ebay and NOT scrapped for gold).

Packard Bell sold a ton of Original Pentium 60/66 machines and they generally just had a very large heatsink glued to the CPU with no fan (they had a fan blowing over the CPU heatsink attached to the case).

The glue took off some of the letters on top
    seems to say

    Pentium O
    ------------

Copper Head, those are the very first Pentium chips if they have gold on both sides. Not a Pentium Pro but they go for the same price depending on the buyer.

Pentium 60 without the FDIV bug (the ones with FPU bug are collectors items).

considering i have the - MB - MEM - Chip - peripherals . and that collectors want the chips for gold content OR collectors items for vintage - I think that i must have made a mistake in dismantling as Why do collectors want items for vintage with out a computer to use it .

People collect things for different reasons. Some just want every CPU made and even try collecting every stepping produced. Others want their first computer back (or collect specific brands) and some just want a machine of a specific period to run software of that period.

If the machine looked mint and worked it might have been worth it to try ebay, once you get into dead machines missing parts with yellowed cases you are better off recycling.

Well the computer case is just a case - if someone collects - MB - MEM - Chip - peripherals it takes little room up and they can always for fun or necessity build a computer in a modern comp case , The first apple computer was built in a wooden box

next subject - I just noticed i have what looks like a 486 or less even 386 has the round keyboard connector - the chip snaps in and the edges of it are the pins 3/4 x 3/4 a very AT like computer with the old large floppies have not booted it up and it's been sitting in the rain for a wile

Pictures are a wondeful thing if you have any Copper Head. Computers left out in the rain a short while will dry and still work, but over long periods of time stuff starts to rust and rats/mice move in (cat/rat pee is VERY bad on electronics).
