Found this baby in the trash tonight

Found this in the trash tonight on the way to get gas in my car. The blue booklet is a price sheet from 1983. Says it listed for 499.00!!!!! I put this in my top 10 trash finds just for the flashback!

Wow, that brings back memories! I would be curious to know what the scrap value of it is.

Probably worth a lot more with the box and booklet.

Some things are just worth not scrapping. Ya sure you'll get money for scrap but.some.things are worth saving. So with that if you sell scrap it please let me buy it in tact.

I almost drove past it! It was in a pile of stuff around the corner from my house. I was on my way to get gas for my commuter. I couldn't wait to get home and open it up I ran right into the garage with it. My wife said I was like a kid who found a stash of playboys scurrying to his bedoom lol! No way I would scrap it though. Ill try to post some pics of the price lest items, they are hillaious!

You could try the Vintage Computer Forum, and see if you get any interest. Could get it in the right hands and make a fair bit without the e-bay hassles.

Maybe you should be calling it a 'trashback' instead of a 'flashback' lol.

Nice one. When I was just a young teenager the computer guy at my first job gave me an old laptop. I can't remember the name or any specifics about it, except that the screen wasn't really much of a screen, it typed only letters and numbers and as far as I knew, it didn't have any type of programming for it. I never knew what it was for, but I did think it was cool. I wish I still had it. Well even if I did still have it, it would have probably been destroyed in the fire, along with every thing else.

Anyway. Awesome find. I am happy for you.

LOL! I just re-read that and said the same thing to myself! At least something positive came out of $4.11 a gallon.

    scooter

Found a Razor electric scooter in the trash last night. I was ecstatic but I was in a small car and it wouldn't fit in the trunk so I drove home with it across my lap. (ps it was at a private residence so I knocked first and the older gentleman was glad it could still be of some use after his grandiose broke it.)
