6000# horder

well it took about 10hrs but i got a repair guys hording apartment cleaned out. landlord was doing this by himself before i got the call asking how much and what i was willing to take. this guy paid 2 months rent and left everything, which is great for me but its mixed as well because there was only 14 tv's nothing huge. but so much so so so so much recievers vcrs tape players testing stuff and the whole nine yards of electronics about 6000lbs worth that fully loaded my garage.
which is good and bad because sure this is great for business and connections wise and yes its some money but really not as much as if this stuff was in good working shape some things i am able to sell like the commadore 64's sansuni amps and speakers antique fans and other things. however the most of it is steel and motors and transformers which is money but not alot cords wise i cut them off but these go back and they used steel wire inside yes steel not alu its magnetic and so as i will be going through this over the next week it may take. its amazing to me how we as scrappers work so hard sometimes for just alittle and sometimes in an hours we can made so much. i thinks thats why its so appealing to us and of course getting to smash the crap out of things lol.
anyway it was my first horder so i thought i would share happy scapping everyone

travis how long did this take you if you don:t mind me asking not just the loading but processing time

have not processed it all yet but loading wise it takes longer as i just have a car which i live close by just across town so about 2miles so it took just under 2hrs thats not including the 10hrs it took to clean out the place which i did not need to but its was a nice thing to do for him i would guess in total to process this 35hrs i do not work all day though or i would go insane so it will take about a week plus 2-4hrs throwing out trash

Even if you need to bale out of the processing you have good weight . Remember when it comes to motors all that matters is the layers of steel and windings . AL windings or Steel windings still fall under electric motors . That is part of the work though having transformers cleaned up to the point of layers of steel and windings
