well had a little time between getting ready to go out of town and drove by the dish network spot i found,this is the forth time ive went there, and the guy had a couple more dish's for me! Not alot this time but definitively a spot to return to every time im in that area:

They're also referred to as LNB's. They used to have a good resale value.

Its raining cats and dogs here, so i took a little ride to my friend richies garage and after playing video games for a couple hours, hanging X-mas lights between a break in the storm, we got busy cutting down and re-welding the tow hitch to fit in between the frame rails so itll bolt in and be behind the flip up license plate im making in the rear grill/roll pan:

Next up date should be with it bolted in and with a flip up license plate if theres ever a break in the rain thats supposed to last all week!

For sure! I have to rebuild the trailer tongue altogether going to lengthen it and a-frame it, if you look at the tongue on the trailer now, it is way to short to begin with somebody has repaired it several times and looks like its been shortened a few times in its life....it has a crack in it also so it needs to be replaced already....I was also looking at hitch extenders but dont know if that cuts down on weight load ratings using one of those are not....

Not for scrapping but I get a lot of comments when at stores buying bulky items with my helmet in my hand.
This is a clone of a 1938 BMW made in China, they used them as a light military vehicle until about 1985. It is so close to a 1938 BMW that most of the parts will bolt bolt directly onto a BMW.
This is also a test to see if the photos will show for me.

still raining here so havent messed with getting the tow hitch installed yet, but did take in a load of scrap metal and recyclables that i managed to scrounge up here and there, doesnt look like much but still pulled in $138 dollars and barely topping the truck bed rails!

Hello fellow scrappers hope you all had a great christmas!! I been on the go since the day before xmas, but it hasn't been scrappin......the ol'lady and I decided to buy each other a 5th wheel for our gift to each other and move on to the inlaws property (rent and bill free) for about a year and save up some money to help us get on our feet! so ive been moving,hauling stuff to the dump and remodling the inside a bit before we get settled in:


but i did manage to pull in a little load yesterday:


Might be awhile before i post again but i am checking in and reading up every once in awhile but dont worry ill be back! until then happy scrapping !

That yard is really close to my warehouse! I haven't been there yet though, I called them and their prices were pretty low...at least what they quoted me over the phone.

Ya i usually go to a few other local yards for my larger scrap loads, I only go there when i have a small load and tv's! I had about 6 tv's not pictured with that load, all the other yards will only let you take in a couple a year per id....sac scrappers you can take a unlimited number of tv's and computer monitors in whenever.....I usually go to the yard on Qst and elkhorn, or TKO depending on what area im in.

Really? How much do they pay for TVs? I usually take mine to the electronics recycling place on Richards and they pay 0.06/lb, but I have to have names/address/phone from the people I got them from. I like going to TKO, that's where I usually go. However, I went in to simms the other day, and their prices are much better than anywhere else I've been to. I think a lot of the yards sell to them.

they only pay .3 cents a lb. but ive already used all the other yards and my limit for tv's so unless i have the time to strip the tv's of the copper and dispose of the waste, i really dont have anywhere esle to take them, so i pile them up and turn them in to sac scrappers because theres no limit and some times its easier then stripping them...

didnt take a picture yet but road side score for today , was a 6 horse self propelled lawn mower missing the pull rope, a 3.5 horse big rear wheel lawn mower with a broken throttle cable , brand new bird cage in its packaging, metal rebar x-mas tree stand, stand up oil filled space heater, table saw....all sitting at the end of a drive way , havent plugged anything in yet to see if any of it works yet , and have to tinker with the lawn mowers, but if none of it works its good for scrap or sold for parts, and if anything does ill sell it...win win..
