scrapping a hardware store...is this worth it?

Local business had this wire on clearance. There is around 15 feet of it and its thick copper wires. Paid $1.32 for it. Is this a steal or am i naive? they have a few more i may pick up if its worth it. easy enough to strip.

If you have an accurate scale you can cut it into a number of feet and weigh it. Then divide by the number of feet you weighed this gives you the weight per foot. Determine the most per foot price you would like to pay and then you will know the answer. I am not trying to be a smart a?? but want to give you an answer you can use in the future. I expect you will find it works out good for you at that price. Mike.
