My trip to the scrap yard

Just thought I would post my trip to the scrap yard today. Extruded al. 85lbs.@.65= 55.25, #1 copper 9lbs.@ 3.15=28.35, #2 copper 31lbs @2.90= 89.90, yellow brass 34lbs @1.85=62.90 and 304ss 23lbs@.45=10.35 for a total of 246.75. Add this to circuit boards= 188.70 and 42.40 that I got on monday for the sale of some ink cartridges, for a weekly total of 477.85. I also have a check comming from Ewasted for about 150.00, should be here by friday, will make for a good week.

Now just rinse and repeat.! I like your prices also! I hoard brass, and copper for as long as I can, sitting pretty good right now.

Out with the old in with the new right? I'm also hitting an auction this weekend, and have been saving cash strictly for them. GOOD LUCK! I've been doing good this time of year brings a perma-grin to my face love it. It sure makes sitting outside at an auction all day a heck of a lot nicer.

Interesting, prices boston and florida are same, yet in the "south" they seem lower.

Must be distance to the water? Or size of the shipping port.

And now is definitely a good time to cash in brass and copper, IMHO

Thought I might share today's small run.

    69# electric motors @.15# for 10.25
    7# aluminum mlc @.50# for 3.50
    3# 2 copper @2.50# for 7.50
    7# 2 insulated wire @.70# for 5.00
    40# insulated aluminum wire @.20# for 8.00
    .5# ni alloy @4.00# for 2.00

Small run but the yard is on my way home and it's fun to break stuff down.

    God bless!
