Must have been an early Craftsman when they really made some quality tools. Most likely made in the USA. Chances are you'll be able to pass it on to your grandchildren, unlike the cheap stuff they make today that's lucky to make it thru your first marriage. LOL!!
If it wasn't for the $ in $crap, it would just be.....

I have one also that needs a new cord as the body is all alum. with no rubber insulation, alum.+ cracked cord= not good.Originally Posted by RustyDollars

Alum body, single speed single direction.
Works well, and is "serviceable" (easy to take apart and clean)
