pick up: 67 impalla and our newly fabricated trailer

Picked up our newly fabricated trailer. Back hauled this 67 impalla that was almost junked. 500$ got the car which needs a full restoration. We figured we couldn't loose no matter which direction we go with it.

The new sides on the trailer are soiled as a rock the welder did a great job and we've made a great contact for future projects.

Nicely built trailer but the axles are located dead center of the deck, this arrangement will cause the trailer to wig wag at higher speeds on pavement but more pronounced on gravel roads.

On the trailer below you will notice that the axles are placed about 2/3rds towards the rear of the deck.

Those old Impalas are getting scarce. I don't think you'll have any problem finding a buyer. Thanks for saving it...

to bad your so far away i have a fire breathing 454 big block that would be right at home in that impala,

and just for kicks id leave the car in as found condition and go school some ricers and fox body mustangs on how old school iron can run if its leaned on hard enough.

Yes an explorer, that's what we have as of now. Is it ideal? No, does it work? Yes. Is it beating up the motor and trans? Yes. Do we plan on getting a better vehicle in the future? Yes. Is it a bit silly? Perhaps. Is that a four way pallet on the roof? Yes, its a few dollars closer to buying a new vehicle.

I'd be more concerned about the guys on here that scrap in their cars and claim to fit a thousand pounds in their trunk. We've pulled over 20 tons (seperate loads) with her. She's been loyal and has paid for herself, my S-10 &and that trailer have also more than paid for themselves.
