    Tin

I would like to hoard a bit of tin but so far the way i see to get it is above scrap spot $$ . Is there anyways to get it free - relativity free I mean to the point I remove it from items found . Tin cans don't seem realistic .Tin melts at 400 and some change.

I buy pewter stuff all the time at garage sales and thrift stores. You can get it cheap and it benefits the community.

Not sure yet - if you look up pewter it's not pure Tin so value must be lower then tin ,
Pewter a malleable metal alloy is 85–99% tin, the other % copper, antimony, bismuth But old Pewter could also have some lead & Silver
