X-ray apron shields

Have any of you guys had these before? I had gotten a few in a pickup I did. I took them apart which was easy. Just needed a box cutter. I got about 35 lbs out of them. Would they be considered clean lead? They are very thin but in layers.

Quess I'll make my 2nd post to answer this one. Yes it is considered clean pure lead with little if any additives. It is what I call dead soft meaning you should be able to scratch it with your finger nail. The radioactive isotope in it is very minimal as well. Hope this answer your question.
