I saw 2 containers at a job sight ,With plenty of construction workers around . One had metal only . Next to it was trash. Me knowing usual time constraints or lack of upstanding causes workers to toss some metal in . BAM I look and see Wire and one of my fav's communication type ( hearty phone wire ) I'm in , and figure lets see how the GC's will respond as they watch me . First load of wire I give a demo guy a nod How you doing . I work fast swift like a kid in a candy shop . Then a company worker walks up to me (not construction a employee ) says to me I just need to know what your doing ,So I show him there are 2 containers this one is all metal and will be cashed in for some one's benefit. But this one is a mix of trash and a bit of metal and wire that will go to the land fill with the other building trash . The guy says OK no harm thats good. so i keep loading. I am complete & 2 woman start asking me what i am doing wile on there smoke break. They start busting chops saying you know thats asbestos. I was not in the mood to go into a whole factual aspect of how asbestos is handled especially with a Major company like this (Lockheed martin) I said I have kids and I need to earn money It's trash and I can make a few bucks . The woman said well just keep your distance it's asbestos .I walked away thinking I wonder what is worse Cigarettes or asbestos
At home I looked it up mesothelioma and found this

I tend to agree. I believe our wireless, electro-polluted society is an enormous experiment that cannot end well. It has already started taking its toll. Unlike cigarette smoke or asbestos, microwave radiation from wireless technologies is almost ubiquitous in urban settings.

Interesting that they were warning you of asbestos, basically saying that they were disposing of it improperly. You are right, not asbestos. Way too many misinformed people in the world.

Had it been asbestos, it would not have been in there if they are a stand up contractor.
