the auction i ran out of money

when it comes to auctions its always good to bring alot of cash in my case i thought i did but with alot of pro's there i stood no chance at getting my price.
this was a surplus auction and prices were great but not for what i wanted i got 10 vaccuums for $10 why 25ft medium cords on each plus motor and gears and belts so good deal there. floor buffers various sizes $5-8.50 each good deal not tested yet but will.
boxes of misc. electronic parts with heavy transformers $1-7 each slowley money is running out.
then boom the brand new in box vaccuum tubes come up 30-50ct each sizes from mini to massive some so pretty you blush $50-$160 BOX and then im done thinking well im happy lets see what other stuff goes for and then i cry each time.
pallets of dell monitors 15-18in lcd 20 each pallet 3 pallets $1 $8 $2.50 cry
    75lb flour sifter $10 cry
50-60lb mix of stainless alu lab equip. mainley for soil testing type things $15-$25 each cry
i would go on but after awhile i just left but i wish i would have had time i could have turned in some cans or my change box to buy some of this stuff

I only carry one dollar bills with me. When I pay someone for their scrap I like to " make it rain ". Lol the customers love it. Btw it's not too impressive with only 10 or so dollars. That's all I've ever done it with.

When I get back into RE investing in March or April, I plan to take some of the money I make to do serious storage buying.

Mainly going after stuff I know I can flip immediately, or ebay, and then stuff that is awesome looking, and other stuff that will appreciate in value, I plan to hold onto.

Were used in electronics before there were transistors and do the same job. They continued to be used by those who enjoy vintage stereos, ham radios and broadcast radio recievers. There are collectors of these. Also let me know about the larger ones I have a use for one and might have someone to sell others to. Mike.

You know we forget sometimes that this is not just a good ole boy adventure, there's quite a few women in this industry also.

** Not meant for you personally Burly, I just seen the soapbox laying there and had to jump up on it,,,,I'm done.

She said she was offended by a thread about storing stuff in the garage. Said she wasn't coming back. That was five days ago. I was surprised.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
