Nice haul Russell!
Got the non ferrous scaleman a case of Tecate as a thank you. A little bit goes a long way.
Wow... Thats a nice trailer youve got there how much can it haul?
Thanks , Devin. We started out with very little on purpose to see if we could generate everything purely from the sale of scrap. Everything we own has been supplied through returns on scrap sales.
Initially the trailer had no sides. We made one run and bought plywood and brackets and built the sides up ourselves. We made runs for 8 months saved a little each time to put down on the steel sides a month back. We had it professionally fabricated; so I don't have an accurate tare weight, yet. She will comfortably hold 3 to 4 thousand lbs. We've broken over 4 a few times, however, the abuse on the truck engine is what we worry about. A new truck is our next goal.
