Be careful of central a/c units as well. They harbour nasty spiders, around the compressers and coils; they love to build nests on the inside towards the bottom.

Keep an eye on that bite Gentleman! I know of at least two people that were bit by brown recluse spiders and boy, they can do some damage. Not trying to startle you, but just be vigilant. I freaking hate spiders, lol!

got bit once on the top of right hand, within 6 hrs my hand was throbbing, swollen and hot. A trip to e.r. determined it to be a recluse spider bite. Nasty little s.o.b.s. Needed a shot of penicillin and 10 days worth of antibiotics. Keep an eye on that bite, the venom from a recluse bite can do major tissue and nerrve damage if its not taken care of quickly.

    I'd get it looked at.

I pick up boxes from a guy who cleans out storage units sometimes.

Never know what's in them, I've found stuff to resale, stuff I could use, stuff to scrap, old glassware, vintage linens, stinkbugs, 3 brown recluse spiders....

I never bring the boxes in the house and I never stick my hand in them without poking around first and looking real good I'll tell you that much.

it seems ok now and the swelling has went down. was 2 days of pain, guess it depends on how good they get you too. had one turn half my back red one time and it went all the way around to one side of my chest, i went ahead held out for over a week but if it was gonna get any worse i would of got it checked that time.

That redness is the poison working it way thru. It's like when a cut gets infected and the infection spreads. If it gets to the blood stream you have problems. Glad your feeling better.
