finally got around to cleaning some old jumper cables,real heavy duty, around ten foot long,thick to. got lucky,the insulation was so brittle it just broke right off. had 6 pieces, just to satisfy my curiosity i did three and weighed them .little over 5 lbs of copper. and one side of the clamps were copper.
