Today I made my usual Wednesday trip to my local scrap yard. Nothing to exciting on the load. An electric range, couple bed frames, broken down electronics and such as well as a box of electric moters and transformers, both big and small. I had them in 4 boxes (big/small electric motors, big/small transformers). When the fellow working asked why I had them sorted I said "I'd rather work harder sorting them so you don't have to" (not knowing weather or not I needed to even sort them, better safe than sorry). He laughed and tossed them all in the same bin and said "since your willing to make my day easier, here is an extra .03 a lb on motors." I thanked him and went on my way. Nice...
