Possibly my first real score from my cl ad

I've had a few small to medium hits on my cl ad, and a lot of people trying to sell me good computers, this may be a good one.

I got a text from an it guy with "lots of computers to get rid of" so i remind him that i am interested in them for scrap and generally pay $4 for a complete tower (this leaves me room to negotiate up a little if i need to). He was very happy with that price, and is only about 15 miles away. He has about 30 "older" towers and was going to take them to the dump untill he saw my ad. I should have offered $3 lol.

The plan is to meet on Thursday and go through the stuff and agree on a final price. If it goes well, I will tell him what other things to save for me, and he will also talk to his customers about other scrap when he see's them doing renovations.

IT guys are the best people to treat well. They will have stuff for you all the time. If they know they can sell it to you they will then tell thier customers that they can take it from them and most of the time then charge thier customers for removal of old equipment. Turns out to be a win win for the IT guy and good steady flow of stuff for you.

Make sure to let them know you will also buy cat5 and cat6 wire. They tend to buy it by the 1000 foot box and dont always save it from job to job since they buy it for each job. Kinda like a roofer will overbuy shingles. I once got a box with about 500 feet left in it.
