I have been using the same yard since I started scraping 6 months ago so they have gotten to know my face.
Today I had a bit of a clean up around home and took a small load in,not much weight but better in their yard than mine.
When I went to the office to collect the cash they asked me if I did pick ups from peoples homes and I said YES.
They said that is great we get calls all the time to pick up a fridge,washing machine dryer,ect. and it not worth it for us,we had a guy but he is no longer available.
So I gave them my number and from now on they will direct all of these calls my way.
This could bring in a lot of work for me.
So a bit of advice from a newbie ALWAYS be polite to the girls in the office & treat them with respect(you should anyway) it may work in your favor.
They could of asked many guy for their number but they asked me(and it's not my looks,I have a head like a hat full of busted bum holes)
Anyway looking good for the new year.
