friday a good day, saturday a good day, full time update

i had a couple good days, yesterday i got a kia sorento and paid $$$ for it, then last night i took some ewaste to barrenrealms and got $$$ for it, today i got a gmc savanah and paid $$$, a chevy 1500 and paid $$$ and sold it for $$$, a pontiac grand prix that i drove up on the trailer i bought it for $$$ and took it to my new car lot guy ive used for a couple months anyway after a test drive i sold it for $$$. anyway just the two day tally im up $$$ and a kia and a savanah. i also went to pick up a chevy blazer but i walked away, i just didnt like the situation

had i still had my job i would been at work today and had to work tonight and would have only had time to do one of the cars, its still early but i really believe i made the right decision. this coming week a foreign car mechanic wants to meet me, he has a large junkyard behind his shop but im not really sure what he wants to talk about so i try not to get to excited, also the last wrecker service i picked up said he would have me another list of cars one day this week. i got new magnetic signs for my truck today and thats about it. i hope everyone has had a great week after Christmas, its early but next year is shaping up good

edit,, also yesterday we pulled $$$$ worth of cores

Curious how you flip cars so easily, are you having to deal with titles?

cars are easy to process and flip if you have clean clear titles. I had to cut a car in half this week to get rid of it because i dont have a title for it.
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com
I AM ACTIVELY BUYING ESCRAP OF ALL TYPES. BOARDS, RAM, CPUS AND MUCH MORE

    hey landmine

like jg says, i just havem sign the title as a seller so in all actuallity if i sell it on the way home im basically just a delivery driver. dont get me wrong its still luck of the draw on the cars because i buy them blind over the phone and have no idea what they look like. the truck today i was already on the lookout for a 90s shortbed chevy for a hotrod shop building a 60s truck, to be honest i coulda scrapped it for a little more but it only had a 10mile ride on my trailer. my new car guy is a carlot about 3 miles from my house on the way home from one of the cities surrounding me. i tried a few times before i got him to buy anything, it took some time but we built a relationship finally. im not sure now but ive sold him several in the last couple months. when i left today he said when you get something else let me know. i quote my first wrecker service i picked up ole John Henry that ive posted before, he said you can shear a sheep its whole life BUT you can only skin it once, really great advice if you think about it, i sell the carlot cars where he can make a good profit even after repairs but still at a higher price than i could ever scrap them for, its a win win win for everyone involved. the same way when i buy them in bulk from the wrecker services i pay more than i would to an individual but they leave me enough to make it worth my time to scrap. ive been fortunate the last few weeks getting several sellable project cars.

if you can get them and remember my quote from John Henry a steady flow of cars can be obtained from wreckers services, repo men, bailbondsmen, mechanic shops and body shops, ive not put any numbers together yet but guessing i get between 10 to 15 a month just from these sources on average

you need a title for the car and the title must not have any liens on it and it must be signed by all names that are on the title just as they are printed on the title. If that is the case you wont have any problems.

Good job, sounds like a good week!!! I picked up a 46" flat screen yesterday that was just laying up outside by someones trash can and the customer was more than happy to let me haul it off. Took it home and it turned out that there wasn't a thing wrong with it. I just started scrapping less than a month ago and have already made about $500.00 and received a working freezer (which I ended up selling for &150.00) and a working flat screen tv. I'm very pleased with my results so far.

i usually dont count my chickens so to speak but i can pretty much count on this, one of the wreckers called about an hour ago and said he had 4 more ready to go, a flat rate that i pay is working out really well on this one dakata quadcab 4x4, buick lesabre, town and country and a tahoe. i ill pay the man in the morning and start bringing them in, also the guy with the blazer called back i asked him for the vin number and we are going to call dispatch in the morning and have it ran , i hope it checks out blazers are one of my favorites
