    They add up. Handles, latches, hinges, and closures can also be re-used, resold. If you're a handyman/woman the glass can also, or maybe donated to a re-use center. Same is true with windows and their glass and hardware. A number of window and door makers made their own doors, but ordered the hardware from other manufacturers, sometimes you'll find the same brand hardware on different brand windows/doors
