It would have to include a multitude of vendors from people selling wire strippers and granulators to refining services and reps from larger scrap yards...EPA is a thought as well...after all anything worth doing is worth doing right.

So are we going to make this a reality, or just talk about it? I for one would be more then willing to travel where ever the event was held. Perhaps we should start out with a poll of what location most people would most likely attend and then get a count of people STILL interested in attending. Then work on getting a group hotel discount, companies to attend, etc. LETS DO THIS PEOPLE!!! I personally believe this would be a great opportunity for everyone who attends.

Gots to make sure the hotel we stay at don't mind dumpster diving! LOL

Depends how far to go

I am going to vote chicago. Why? because there's still at least some steel industry in and around chicago... and three PM refiners within driving distance. Not to mention guys like Ewasted(Mario) could probably attend something like that, I could certainly attend...heck I'll buy stuff at the show....though it might look weird with computer parts in your checked baggage.

I could go to Chicago or St Louis... Indianapolis is also on my mind but I honestly don't think there's enough industry reps in that area. Chicago has my number one vote, mostly because it also has a hub airport.

I wouldn't mind Chicago. Never been there so it would be cool!

If this happens (and I would like it to) the first step might be check cost in the top choices (Vegas' Chicago, KC, ....)
