    Started on Ford Escort

I picked up a 1996 Ford Escort on yesterday. It has a good motor and straight body but transmission is out. I posted parts on Craigslist. I only keep car for two weeks what ever I have not sold goes to the yard. My goal is to pick up five cars per week. Now that I have my 16 foot trailer I think I can reach that goal.

Do you have a place to store the cars while you part them out without the Neighbors complaining?

Why not get a storage unit and shelve the parts? I dont think 2 weeks is enough time to move many parts. I am averaging 2-3 years between ebay and craigslist sales to completely sell a car.

I strip the car completely and then haul it off. I am not against doing quick cherry picking part downs either if theres not much value there.

Congrats. Ironically, my new partner is after a '96 Escort. I had to take a second look at your location when I was reading that.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Well I am blessed to have 7ac I'm in the country. I retired after I got sick and left Houston. I just don't like to stock pile. My place is starting to be cluttered. My goal is to get some storage containers so I can stock pile then.

Congrats on your venture and your goal is doable. My only advice is if you start getting that many cars find several guys that like projects, you can make way more than scrap and not do anything but unload the trailer, let me know when you get your first car drove to you, I've had several now the best being a 92 four banger mustang hatchback. Good luck

Rca thanks. I feel ok but I'm no where near what I was.
Corycouch thanks you are right. I have some one that can take them apart so I can go get more cars.
