I'd rather eat my own cooking - most recent feast was a mushroom and tofu concoction in a coconut milk, peanut butter and curry sauce

Most restaurants serve more than I want to eat or buy. When I order a sandwich, I want only a sandwich, not fries, chips, soup, salad, coleslaw, or anything else, but those are still included in the price. I buy food mostly at Costco, Target, Aldi, Save-A-Lot, and local produce markets, but Meijer has the best deal on natural peanut butter.

Breakfast is simple. 2 onion bagels with cream cheese. (another good reason to not be in Bogalusa.... NO ONION BAGELS ANYWHERE!).
Lunch usually ends up being a turkey sammich or a chicken wrap out of the cooler. Living in a van has its disadvantages, but atleast I am never homeless. lol

Chicken fried steak is one of my most favorite things to eat any time of the day! When I was in elementary school in Texas, the cafeteria had two choices for lunch every day. One was chicken fried steak and the other was a rotating option.

Most of the places in California serve the frozen crap that they just put into the deep fryer. But, there is a dive bar here in Sacramento that serves breakfast and they make it right with floured pan fried cube steak and white pepper gravy. YES!

the racks of ribs were longer than the racks on the smoker so i improvised the rib-bridge with the beercan holders

Oh too much meat is no good. It's better bring some lettuce to make yourself feel less greasy.

A southern style of BBQ house is almost like a slice of heaven.
