Little late, Just read this. Lemme tell ya....

I went to the original 5 guys. Awesome burgers. Lil sis forced me while I was in Maryland/DC/Virginia. We have one up in Spokane, Wa. I decided to go in one night. First off, Totally different structure. East coast you pay by the piece. Here you pick a burger and run with it. Large fry on the east coast = big a$$ bag you cant eat, Here its like a McDonalds trip. Prices are different. It's a completely different place. I had the real deal. What we have (what has spread) is BS. Kind of sad, The actual 5 Guys was pretty legit. There is a reason for a hype. We just don't get it.

yeah i thought like that to,till i had a heart attack and bypass surgery at the age of 45,the wife says she wants to keep me around,so i make some effort to eat better.my biggest accomplishment is avoiding fried foods, exspecially when we have fish ,used to be all deep fried, fish, taters, hushpuppies. Now i still fry my fish but do a baked or boiled tater and just eat lightbread or a biscut. i tried the baked fish, just wasnt the same.

You ate 30 wings? What kind of sauce did you have?
If you haven't tried it, the habanero mango sauce is awesome.

If any of you are ever in Nashville stop by Princes Hot Chicken. You'll want a good cold creek to sit in the next day if you order it hot.

I had 10 of just hot, 10 of the jalapeņo garlic, 5 of the Thai something, 3 terriaki left over from my buddy, I ordered 5 of the habanero mango and tasted like (weird but bear with me) pepper sauce honey and tequila mixed together at first taste until the sweet wore off and omg. I only ate two of them and had to call it quits, I was full and pretty buzzed(8 in an hour). I wish I had gotten 10 of those instead of the hot I ordered first as they were awesome. I drank another beer and my mouth was still burning. Good stuff, I love food, I usually eat at a hotel bar but this was across the street and this hotel didn't have a bar anyway.

Edit, sorry sirscrap couldn't resist.... Cory keeper of the walking cooler between wild wings and country inns and suites
