    Ha ha, that's awesome.

We has a Quiznos here on the sandbar, but it shut down. Couldn't compete with Subway an the local joints. Crazy prices, smaller subs. They had one I liked...prime rib or something? It was many years ago tho. The one here you've herd me talk about, Stop N' Shop, **** subs were so good, I had one when I was 18, left an didn't visit for a few years, an it's all I thought about whenever I bought a sub anywhere. They use the Boar's Head brand, an always have. Good stuff.

Ham n' Cheese with the triple pepper cheese..ah..simple but oh so gooood.

Doesn't work here well. You know how it is with a good local place, big chains have a hard time winning over the locals unless they do something drastic.

Enjoy the stay, eat up all the hot breakfast, they should have it, I think they all have to have the choice 'flag' as they call it. There is one in Hampton Roads, we stay at when up in that part of Va, I think a sleep inn..best **** hotel breakfast I think I ever had I didn't have to pay extra for. When the eggs run out, they make a new batch but it'll be a western style scramble, or make breakfast sandwiches..bacon so good it melts in your mouth..crazy. Next time we go I'll have to take a pic for ya.

Now I'm hungry, as is usual after this thread. Thanks a lot Cory! Ha ha!

Sirscrapalot - Off to enjoy a sub.,

Tell me those are hush puppies, sausage balls, or something other then rocky mountain oysters...That steak, beer an O-Rings look good!

Nice looking bar. Care to share the location or did I miss that in our first round of posts?

Fried garlic mushrooms, mmmmmmm, it's in Arlington Texas on I-20 behind the quality inn(walking distance). The taters had garlic and jalapeņo in them. Best mushrooms I ever had, onion rings in my top 5. Steak was good but just good, probably not even in my top 20. Place was full and it's Wednesday, my buddy had a burger and it looked good but I just had a red robin a few days ago.

Edit again, Sirscrap this is for you, on the link above click vices, all sorts of beers and whiskeys, one was maple bacon coffee flavor

Edit again, on the 2nd or 3rd page of vices is one called punishment that they dumped an assortment of chiles into the barrel
Wow! As you know I'm from the south. The DEEP, DEEP SOUTH. Where we eat just about anything you can imagine. Alligator, crawfish, nutria rat. In fact, we got a saying, " I'll eat anything that don't eat me first!" So when I say this it's sayin something. Bacon, peanut butter, and honey?? YUCK. JUST YUCK.

    lol!

I got my wife to try gator once, at a bar we had in Va, that was NO style. She claims it tasted like chicken. Ha ha! I was surprised I got her to try it. The two shots of JD might of helped.

Wife's always dieting (she doesn't need to as she's locked into a 16 yr old body) so I end up with a protein shake for breakfast quite often along with some vitamins etc. and coffee. When I leave the farm to go loading iron, then it's time for some chicken and chocolate donuts and a soda pop or more coffee. When I take the wife along, it's usually a big dinner at a nice cafe which blows her diet. We're both 65, no meds, never smoked or did any of those other nasty things. Arthritis is becoming my latest buddy. Two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water each day is supposed to remedy alot of ills. We'll see.

Bacon is awesome. I tried some Chocolate covered bacon once. It wasn't bad...couldn't do it everyday..as I'm not into super sweet, but..it was different. I'd try it again!

They were good but not great, the hush puppies on the left of the pic were awesome tho. The best thing out of all of those was the dog, $3 at a trailer outside of Lowes somewhere in Texas
