    Not bad for trash! Harley wheels...

    So I got these from a garage cleanout. Was going to just scrap the aluminum rims. Then saw the magic words "Harley Davidson" inscribed on the wheel.

    A quick listing on eBay, and a buy it now buyer same day for $125!

    I don't know if I left money on the table or not, but I figured that was a reasonable price considering how expensive Harley stuff is and the fact I could scrap the rims for decent money.

    Oh, and the guy who came out to pick up the wheels is very interested in buying my go karts. I'll let you know...

    Nicely done!! Rims can be that way.. right type.. right gearhead segment.. Like 30 lb Silver coins!
    I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

    That is the mark of a great scrapper!! If you don't know what something is worth, check it out on ebay!! I agree that it is important to realize that scrap value by definition is the least ammount of money something is worth. Way to crank up those profits!
