I have a 2014 silverado work truck and filled it with 2k lbs of wood pellets and about 300 lbs of wood, me and passenger weight of about 300lbs also and maybe 150 lbs of tools. Had about 5 inches left of the wheel wells and leafs were maybe 20 degree curves.

2700 pounds in in the back of my 2005 F-150 4x4. I have the towing package and the payload for the trucks without it is 2330 so I don't feel to bad at all.
