    craig's list score trailer

I scored a pretty good utility trailer on Craig's list today. Haven't measured it yet I think it is a 5' by 10 foot with a full size truck Weather Guard cross bed tool box on the front, with the two flip up sides painted white. It is home made with angle iron and an osb floor seems to be in really good condition. I only had to drive 37 miles to pick it up used 8 gallons of gas at 4 a gallon total cost $32.- dollars.

    David

What happens to the galvanizing or porcelain finish when the fire gets hot enough, does it make some kind of dangerous gas/smoke??
That's the only thing I would worry about, other than that, they look nice,

I have never noticed any crackeling or any smell? They work great. David

I went to Mision Bay kayaking today and brought along some firewood and a laundry tub on legs. There were about eight people in our group. After I got done kayaking I started a fire in the tub and once it burned down a bit. I put the grill from a stove over the top and we had some hot dogs. Than I put the top of a broilng pan from a recycled stove over the drum and continued to cook hot dogs keep our group warm and heat a pot of tea and coffee at the same time. We did this right in the grass. I had filled up the bottom of a broiling pan with water and put it under the washmachine tub to get the hot embers when they fell out of the hole it the center of the drum. When we were done the grass looked fine not burnt. I had a couple of old metal coat hangers tied to the sides through some of the holes in the side of the tub so you could pick it up when it was hot and dump the ashes in a firepit. Works great for my purpose anyway.
