    successful first trip

Just got back from picking up two engines and four buckets of cans. I went for the engines and gave to guy a few bucks, then he said "do you take cans?" I said yes I do so he then gave my the four buckets of already crushed cans. he also mentioned that he comes across stuff all the time when he works on cars and stuff. He said he use to have someone pick it up but he hasn't heard from them in a while so I gave him my number. Turned out pretty good I think, a lot of al. on the engines and my first contact

Way to go. When you haul in those engines, check if they have aluminum blocks or heads before you scrap them. If they do, check if your yard will pay you dirty alum price on them, instead of just steel price.
