Found a guy selling these. That's 1000ft of gutters. Assuming that it's aluminum what amount should I offer him? Hes asking $400 which is not doable. I was thinking maybe $1 per piece. Anyone on here think this venture is even worthwhile and if so what would you offer? I know I could just look up aluminum prices but I was hoping maybe some of you would have an idea of what something like that would weigh so I could do the math myself.

Sheet aluminum so I think more like .25 each. they don't weigh much and take up a lot of space unless you smash them flat. Also they may have steel screws in brackets that will need to be removed.

Around here it would be worth about .40-.50# a yard. Going on the weight oldtoothlessbassmaster gave you that would be between $111-139 when you sell it. How much gas and time do you have involved? I wouldn't pay more than $75.00 if it was nearby and my yard was close.

I wouldn't pay anything for them but I would haul them off for free. After your time and gas and paying for them you WILL LOSE MONEY. There is to much free stuff like that out there to be paying for it. My .02
