Growing with my scrap yard

I have been scrapping for a little under a year now and have been going to the same scrap yard since I started. Right at the beginning I was told not to go there because they were new and their prices were terrible. Seeing as how they are almost within walking distance, I went anyway. Second best decision I have made so far (joining here being the first).

I have bonded pretty well with the staff there and we have taught each other a lot. Even though they might not have the best prices, they are so lenient that the time I save in labor more than makes up for it. I guess the moral of the story is that sometimes the best way to a dollar isn't to take the well known short cut, sometimes you need to build a bridge.
