    Sad To Leave Stuff Behind

Yesterday after working my full time job and picking up my daughter to go home, I did a little curb shopping on the way home. This one house was like the jackpot and after filling up my truck, there was still more to be had but I had no more room. It was going to be a half a hour back home, unload and go back for more, it was getting late and I needed to get my daughter supper and to bed. Do you guys hate when this happens or do you leave it for the next guy? I hate doing this, but sometimes I have to. I know I can’t get all, but knowing it’s there, I can’t sleep.

Sad?? You should be totally hyped! You got yourself a full load, and there was some left for others. There's more than enough greedy people in the world, who think only in terms of "mine! mine! mine! It's ALLLL mine!" It seems to me free scrap comes along in much the same way the birds of the air get their feed, and they seem to always find enough. Why not present it to your daughter as being something positive, not as if it was somehow a neg

Get a bigger truck or start pulling a trailor to work. The problem with that, you'll never find that much stuff again after work.

Totally understand, win some, lose some. Just great full the scrap gods were looking down on me that day, had my share of skunks runs. Just keep the nose to the grindstone.

Just be thankful you were able to get your truck full. Sometimes we can't get it all. But when you say you can't sleep I have to lmao. Don't sweat the small stuff.lol
    Good Luck!

On this forum Every scrapper can dream big, for the curb scrapper it's a lift when you get what you feel is free. I think if you look you will always find and if you incorporate that with a decent job (not scrap) well your way ahead of most people who know nothing of precious metals. The newly introduced hunter will always be obsessed. In time you will mellow out but for as long as you scrap you will

    1) Find more then you can handle

    2) Find it on your way to a wedding

it's up to you how much you let it dominate your life . ONE way or ANOTHER scrap can do you in.

I met a scrapper man once and he said to me as i saw him toss all out of his truck . ( He took apart what was easy , but all went to the yard ) He said I learned rules
    1) Find it
    2) Sell it
    3) Get more
every thing else is a waste of time
he said this cause he saw me taking back with me motors
    for future dissemble

I am not sure who is rite but I do know this
don't worrie you will find more or it will find you.
