    Karma!

Don't be greedy and try to talk to EVERYONE!

About a month ago it was around 9pm I was unloading a pickup it was a long day I was wore out. I had a scrapped out monitor at the curb since garbage day was the next day. Someone pulled up and went to grab it. I told them it was scrapped out but if they want the two TV's in the back of my truck they were welcome to them, it was a long day I got them for free and didn't want to deal with them. I also figured this would give me the time for an opportunity to talk to them about saving computer stuff for me. Today I get a knock on my door and the lady is outside in her vehicle with her kids inside is a STACK or NORTEL boxes each one with a huge beautiful board inside, 2 nice Full tower computers, and a couple other Nortel devices. Score! I told her to keep going back to the honey hole she told me she was so broke she didn't have a single dollar change so now I got her hopefully coming back again she owes me $5 and was so happy I think she poo'd herself.

Are you saying you did not pay her and she was broke?? And she delivered??

I reread and I think I stand corrected,,,,,

Considering his post, I'd venture to say he paid her fairly for what she had, and then overpaid her by $5 so the total came to a nice round number. Eg. her stuff came to $95, here's $100, have a nice day and see you next time. Sheesh.

I seriously hope this is the case. I really hope there's not people out there doing this and getting away with it. Especially taking advantage of a lady just trying to get by raising her kids.

I get what he said about the 5 dollars over... I didn't agree totally with TheFatMan, but I had to thank him for the laugh.

Fatman, I hope you are as eloquent with your apology as you were with the flame job you posted towards the op.

My re-buttal post got removed, is this China? I'd like to think I contribute useful information and help others here. I will not be disrespected and thought of as trash and then censored when I have a post correcting said incident.

I did not see your rebuttal to the comment, but as long as it was within the guidelines of good taste I do not see why it would have been removed. I did see the comment that was posted towards you though and noticed that it was removed as well. I think you should still clear the air on your transaction with the lady so anyone that is not familiar with you or is new to the forum does not get the wrong impression of how you conduct yourself, which as far as I am concerned is in a professional and respectful manner.

Didn't see the flame post, but ScrapYaHerd is a good fella, and as BC said..always professional and respectful no matter who he's replying to.

I think this would be a good time to point out..."If you feel yourself becoming emotional as you post, it might be a good time to step back from the keyboard, count to ten, then try again." Flaming/insulting folks isn't helpful to anyone, even if it does make you feel better.

She was payed $5 per computer tower and $3-5 per nortel rack insert board/units, and $2.25 for a mix of motherboards, since I was payed $2.95ish a week ago. All I had was $20 bills so that is why she owed me $5...Hope that clears anything up.

That makes more sense then what I originally thought. Apologies good sir. So many times I see people extort people down on their luck like that for meager pennies and it drives me insane. There's a few yokels in town here that do that and for the life of me, I can't stand them. Were this not Communist China, I would mostly certainly buy you in a drink.
