    Cool YEA cleaned my truck and got $$

    I cleaned my truck out front and back and found:
    2 lbs #1 copper at $2.50 = $5.00
    3 lbs of clean brass at $1.30 = $3.90
    10 lbs of steel at $0.10 = $1.00
    5 lbs of alu at $0.50 = $2.50
    2 lbs of alu cans at $0.55 = $1.10
    TOTAL = $13.50




    for just cleaning my truck it took about an hour to do it so good day off I am having How many others have done this and found scrap in the truck you forgot about.

    I did just yesterday, a box full of 3.5 drives for the shred and a bunch of wire that I had forgotten about.

    Do you cut the pins off before you throw them in??

    i process floppy drive connectors for gold pins, just snap off the connector off the drive with needle nose pliers then pull the pins out of the plastic, theyre going for about $70 pound right now even with gold down

    All I find when I clean out my truck are empty Big Gulp cups, McDonalds bags, cash register receipts and maybe a few dried up french fries if I am lucky.
