    one heck of a weekend

so with help from people on here I had my best weekend yet, set a lot of personal records. First I had two call for scrap and spent all of saturday attending to them. I ended up driving about 100mi with a trailer with my new truck. on a side note I don't think I did a follow up post about an auction I went to, ended up with a 01 chevy 2500hd ex. cab 8 ft bed with pintle hitch and tool box for 1700, not to bad. anyway got to the first spot and gave the guy 40 bucks for what he had bunch of mixed metal. put all that in the bed and knew we had made some money by how low it was also had to put some on the trailer. then it was to the next guy for some warehouse lights which have some confusion and frustration were indeed mine. bought 40 of them at 10 a piece then made my way home with a full truck and trailer. got home and started breaking some of the lights down and got really concerned, the guy I got them from claimed there was 5lbs of copper in each one. I haven't found one with 5lbs in it seems more like 4 by my scale however he also claimed the cases were steel, wrong again most are al. after some rough numbers I should be instore for a nice profit. better yet went to my yard today with some of the steel from my first stop and had almost 1300 lbs, theres my money and some profit and I still have more to take. then while talking to the guy at the yard I told him I had a large load of copper and al. and I was worried with the prices being so low, he said to bring it up and they will look at it and get me a better price. I'm pretty sure its because I have been there so much in the past few weeks and my stuff is always good. then it made me think I've done a lot for only being 17
