Won An Auction: 5 Skids of E-scrap

Won An Auction: 5 Skids of E-scrap.

It included 14 towers, 4 laptops, 17 CRT monitors (much better return than TVs) 4 flat screen monitors, a bunch of printers (ink jet, laser and dot matrix), 20 battery backups, more keyboards than I could have imagined and cables/wires in crazy amounts. Took two trips to get it all in my mini van.

The coolest thing was a server case made entirely of aluminum, sheet cast and extruded. Had never seen that before.

Anyway, lots of breakdown ahead. Already gutted the monitors and delivered the tubes to Goodwill. I have another dozen or so yokes from earlier finds. Hoping for a nice weight on the final copper yield. Over 100 lbs of various circuit boards (not counting the low grade out of the CRTs). Should be a good payday on those as well.

    Sorry, had to tell someone.

    Bill
