Diamond blades

Incase any one is curious the 4 1/2 ribed diamond blades when put on a grinder cut any steel very well , they are slower in cutting then a fiber type but not by that much . There is no dust . I have already lost count how much steel pipes I cut . AL cuts very well .
There is one draw back you must use ear protection your ears will ring

Haha, ALLWAYS use ear protection.

no question the diamond blades are the most versatile I ever used cuts any thing. Should a figured cause granite is a hard stone as cement can also be . I figure this will cut compressors at the best price . Since cutting deep is not a concern for compressors a small 4 1/2 on a 15 amp grinder might be the ticket .

Harbor Freight has them in their recent ad. I can't remember for sure, but I want to say 5-ish dollars for them in a 4 1/2" wheel.

That's a good idea for using them on compressors... I am going to try that. I've got a little stack of them that need to get broken down.

I have found they cut anything but they cut slower . if i would pick what it cuts best . fast and safe cutting any type of radiator , copper, brass ,any low tensile steel . cuts cast iron well and pipes . AC compressors i tried and they cut but it's slow. I have 3000# this wont be fast enough for me . i can borrow a torch all i have to pay for is the gas .
