Too take apart a pool heater, you just need 5/16 bit in your drill and wire cutters to cut the wires.
Undo every screw you see and it will come apart easily.
Once you've done a few, you'll know which ones to undo.
However, taking the cast off the copper is a different issue.
You can beat it with sledge but we prefer chop saw.
Sawzall works great also.
First I need to find one & since it is cold here - compared to any place 300 miles south west east .
There should be some floating around , but I think solar heaters are the thing with home owners .
Hotels here don't have out door pools these parts , heated pools in your town are the thing

have wound copper that looks the same as pool heater just in a coil
