    My biggest auction win yet!

...""One Pallet of Computers, Printers, UPS, and Monitors; HARD DRIVES HAVE BEEN REMOVED; AS-IS; Current condition UNKNOWN"".... yadda-yadda-yadda

I did confirm that the stacks you see go 2 deep, and that there's a lot of ""stuff"" on the nearer pallet that can't be seen. I'd never have won if I hadn't called & talked to the contact to confirm the # of towers. He said 6 stacks of 8 or 9, and a couple more on the other side. So... 50+ anyway! Price: $216.58 plus a drive of about that many miles to go get them. That's another reason I won, it's so far away. But I don't mind a little drivetime for 50ish towers at 4 bucks apiece.... plus a little gravy in the miscellaneous.

So happy I have to put in a tagline a la my bud SirScrapAlot:

"They say that laughter is the best medicine... but if you laugh for no reason, chances are you NEED medicine."

Good for you Auminer. I watch a couple of auctions a week. And by watch I mean that I watch a bunch of goobers bid a pallet of 150 computers with no hard drive up to $4000 within the first day of the auction. Glad you finally snagged one

no! LOL That I probably wouldn't've bid on. It ended up being 209.3 total round trip. I'd upload a pic of the lot but my #%$^@$#@$#%^#ing cameraphone is being a %#$^#%$#ing piece of ^#%$%^$^#% right now.

OK... As usual, PEBKAC... or however that goes with a smartphone.

59 towers, a big-ol switch, and some other detritus IT equip. Oh, and 5 UPS' nice batteries & transformers in those.

Yep. Took all empty towers to the yard & no eyebrows were raised when I threw them on the pile with the plastic on them. I had ripped the fronts off of the vertical towers & thrown them into my weekly trash pickup, but other than that it all went to shred.
