please help with hard drive identification

    please help with hard drive identification

    normally I can fin just about any info on the web about these but this one is a stumper I have gotten ibm huge ones before but this one has got a Hewlett Packard sticker on there but no numbers on it and the numbers on the cast piece is all I can find but not much online to help me identify it. please help if you know what type of hard drive year and model this may be I have 2 of these I got in a huge horders load and maybe more when I finally get it all out.

    wow, you might have to pull some of those covers and look for labels. The HP may have just been the unit, or computer, it was installed in

    After holding onto those forever I finally scrapped em..........The platters went to a collector on ebay the rest went for scrap/motors etc..........

    still did not find a lot of info on these but will post them on ebay starting at $1000 but heres a pic of the only one I will break down I do not have the boards on these here but will be posting in a new thread for the whole load of stuff going back to the 60s but the boards inside weighed about 4lbs but heavy with gold even the readers have gold ics on them and hp name in gold lol
